Brief Description:  Cowl - Snorkel/Induction

Coldest day of the winter - started at 50 Degs in shop, but decided to do some fiberglass work on the snorket for the FAB intake. Heater got it to 70 degs.

Mixed up some micro-balloon resin to make it easier to grind out later, glued in the foam plug in the snorkel, and added a little heat gun to get it to set faster. Then cut out the center, and used a rasp to shape the tunnel (removing a little extra for the thickness of the lay-up).

Cut 5" strips of fiberglass, and wet it up in a baggie with a roller to saturate and remove excess resin. Then layed in the strips with the snorkel 'down' resting on a can to catch any drips. Hand-laid strips & rubs in a little resin to ensure it adhered to the roughed up 'mouth' of the opening.
