Brief Description: Clecoe & drill side skin of canopy
Only had a little time but want to work daily.
Clamped the side skin and drilled a few of the top row holes while it was clamped on the top of the longeron with 1/8" spacers. This 'layer' adds a noticeably stiffness to the side rail, and it's very important to get the curvature with the fuselage exactly right. Otherwise, the side rail will be permanently out of alignment, and cannot be bent to shape.
I only drilled a few but probably should have drilled from the center out to the ends, and put a little elbow grease on the shape. A little off in the front/middle area. Will have to tweek and match drill to pressure it to perfection.
