Realized that a SV-NET cable was missing and the EFIS was not talking to ANY of the components. A 1 ft cable was installed and SV Net Configuration found them all, and then upgraded each to the current version of SV (v12.02).
Then it was more productive to run through screens and set parameters and defaults. COMM is still noisy, but then dug in the bottom of the SV-D1000 shipping box and found the EMI filters - will install Friday and re-test.
ForeFlight quickly picked up the WiFi AHRS signal from SkyView and displayed Attitude & GPS info.
