Fabricated a backing plate (doubler) for the GPS mount on the 'turtle back' portion of the fuselage skin (behind the baggage compartment). Added nutplates for the puck screws, then back riveted to the skin. Some deburring, scouring, dimpling, and priming in the process.
Need to order longer screws (AN509-8R12 ?) to pass-through the puck and into the nutplates on the doubler.
Clipped the SV-GPS wire harness and will install a 4-pin Molex connector to run the wiring harness to the SV-1000 panel.
