Several days ago decided that the Vans plastic air vents required a larger mounting surface, which also presented a safety concern to my long legs (left knee). Researched and ordered a couple of SteinAir eyeball vents which are a smaller size, and require only a minimal edge circumference to secure to the bracket.
Price is a consideration but the plastic oversize vents had to go. Pleased with the quality, features, and appearance. Easier to install - 2" hole with a fly-cutter. And need to make two new brackets. (No scrap sufficient but used .032 sheet for a template and test fit)
