Shown is the original O-360-J2A (Helo) version of the oil filler dipstck ... which has been replaced with the full length O-360 version. Added 4 qts pf Aeroshell 100Plus oil, 1 qt at a time and marked the dipstick at 4 qts to calibrate it. The 6 and 8 qt marks are pending further filling.
Hand rotated the prop and confirmed oil circulation to the oil cooler. Checked for leaks and torque.
Then worked through the ignition system (battery, ignition switch, mags, P-Leads, and wiring).
Determined that the system is missing the Starting Vibrator (Shower of Sparks) component. In order to set the timing, the components need to be installed.
Revised wiring diagrams of the ignition system to complete the design.
