Stripped the engine of some components, to add gaskets, sensors, and Fuel Injection. Needed to remove old sparkplug wires and brackets, Needed to access the alternator wiring. Needed to mount sump with new gasket. Removed the exhaust pipes and intake tubes.
Needed room to work - on the FW, and on wiring for sensors, and power.
Cleaned up the mating surfaces of the sump, wiped out the oil. Found the new gasket. Cleaned up the intake tubes. Safetied the drain. Found the lost male connectors for CHT/EGT sensors.
Photo is a composite or panorama (AutoStitch on iPhone). Some 'artifacts' of this technique make the CHT wires appear double.
