Three more trips to the hangar to deliver tools, parts, and finally spend some 'quality time' with the empennage. Had to fabricate new spacers for the HS forward spar, (lost over the yrs). Loose fit to get all the bolt call-outs and be sure I'm ready to commit to torqueing them. Also, pulled-out the fiberglass fairing for a prelimnary fit. Will need some filing and a little cutting. Also need to identify call-outs for fairing fasteners.
Wiring for the rudder light, and manual trim cable routing reviewed. Too soon to tighten anything here. Find all the fasteners, and keep them handy.
