A little more clean-up and finally decided I was ready to locate and drill the bolts for the rollbar (F-631) to the fuselage bracket.
Drawings make everything look so easy and precise, but the reality is that the side of the rollbar is composed of a fwd and aft channel (halves) and a strap in the middle. Position of the bolt holes should firmly secure through the layers and not be too close to edges.
In additon, the whole thing is 'blind' on the inside and it helps to be able to separate the fwd and aft halves and clamp the rollbar against the bracket to drill. A 90 deg drill helped to go from inside-out through the right spot on the bracket while everything is aligned.
A final check on the whole enchilada and drilled the holes. Now for the outside holes ... OOPS, no fasteners in the bin (AN3-10R10) - will leave the 'pilot holes' with clecoes for now.
