Drilled the overlapping holes to #30, and worked the skin into a gentle curve. Used 2" wide painters tape to secure the LE skins, and gradually closed the gap, finally aligning all the holes to secure it with clecoes.
Removed each cleco and inserted the blind rivets, alternate holes only. Then returned for a 2nd pass to insert (and squeeze) the final holes.
On one section I tried to roll the edge slightly but the .020 skin is too fragile to work it without distortion. Consequently, there is a minor separation of the overlapping skin between rivets. Cosmetic.
