Compared bench power tools; bandsaw, 1" belt sander, drill press and misc hand tools against similar units at Loew's. Decided to go with Lowe's. HF equipment is too 'cheap' to expect to work on an aircraft. Might consider 5" vise and hand clamps.
Still looking at the RV-toolkit options but gettnig good vibes about Avery. Due to the extensive completion of THIS QB kit, it seems that a careful review of tools is appropriate. Definitely need fewer clecoes but some other cutbacks may be considered.
Also, need to consider setting up a wall tool storage area. Because of the extensive overhead storage, shelves and expected use of the garage for at least the summer months for a van, (as in wife's Chevy Van), there isn't much wall space that is convenient.
