In frustration had to add mobility to the fuselage. It is necessary to move the project around in the workshop, concentrating on different components and having time and room to work. Still needs gussets for the lateral stability.
The fuselage is the largest and most difficult to 'work around' - but has to move. Previously built a tailcone support by putting about 60 pounds of concrete in a 5 gal bucket. Stood a 2x6 'treated' post and a padded U-shaped support in the middle. Too heavy to move around, it also needs wheels.
The fuselage is now TOO high to reachi in to work, and may need to build a step platform to enter/exit. Could cut out 3-4" inches from the sides and lower the platform. This would be detrimental to installing the landing gear. (Expect the Finsihing Kit by 1st week of Dec).
