Brief Description: Clean & remodel the shop, again
Had to get serious about the workshop again. Clutter was getting too bad to be prodcutive and counter-productive to work around it all. Decided to shelve all the control surfaces (again) and all the fiberglass components. The shelves are up high (9 ft ceilings) and I can walk under all of them. These two shelves allowed me to removed the Finishing Kit packing crate and gain floor space.
I mounted the Helo engine (O-360-J2A) on the roll-around engine stand which consumes a small footprint of floor and can be moved as required. Removed the bent exhaust at the same time.
Then I removed all of my power hand tools (looking for a new spot) but then removed an entire Gorilla rack. This will allow the VS/tail cone to be moved 2 feet back to the wall, and I'll be able to navigate entirely around the plane (with one wing on). I'll insert the right wing briefly with the garage open for a couple of days (at most).
Lastly, will be adding a small workshop on the back of the garage to extract all the workbenches and power tools, and the remaining Gorilla racks. By then I'll be able to run around the plane, re-positioned at an angle in the cleaned out garage.
