Brief Description:  Flap braces - completion of fabrication

#1 - the preview plan instructions mention that "some kits" may have a row of universal rivet heads that align directly under the flap brace flange. Oddly, there is a row of countersunk rivets in the next hole adjacent to the problem rivet. [Suspect that the factory switched these two rows of rivets)

#2 - located the rivet head, drilled to #30, then enlarged with unibit. This allows the brace flange to sit flush on the rear spar. A total of four holes on the outbd end (ribs) needed this relief hole.

Note the general shape and size of the aileron pushrod hole. Also, the flap brace cannot be drilled yet. This requires the flap hinge (missing) and final location of the brace during alignment.

The Rt wing flap brace was removed (rough fit) and also trimmed as per the Lt as described above. Both were fully deburred and primer painted.
