Removed the blue plastic which was only a few yrs old but showed some signs of being deteriorated or adhesive which needed to be cleaned with solvent. Then polished with MetAll and deburred the edges ... in preparation of attaching to wing root.
Placed a few #8 screws and with a small sample of rubber seal checked the gap fit. Later picked up some weatherstrip adhesive to attach the seal without more than a little bit for security.
Put as many #6 SS screws in the wingtips as I had and later ordered 40 more from ACS. Will have to finish fastening when received.
