Drilled the tank attach fwd bracket and aligned to drilled tank bracket but edge distance on the tank side is less than 1/2" -- will double check with Vans Tech Support on issues.
Used the hole cutter to remove a 1 1/8" disc on the fuselage skin and then used a unibit to enlarge the guide hole to 7/8th". With a little work on the deburring tool and a rotary rasp, the hole was enlarged slightly to ensure a tight fit of the 3/8" gas line grommet.
Measured and marked locations of the fuel vent line, and the path of the fuel line to the selector valve housing.
Also installed the (stick) control tubes and trimmed inboard aileron tubes to proper length. Ends not yet riveted. Will have to double check final fit and remove tubes when the wings are removed next time to rivet the ends in place.
