The front leading edge of the fuel tank just outside of BL30, the outside foam was removed to allow a 1" x1" x1/4" aluminum piece to fit in. The alum. piece has been drilled and tapped for 1/8" NPT threads. A hole was drilled into the tank corresponding to the location of the tapped alum hole. This has been done for both the pilot and co-pilot side. They were floxed in with wax and foam in the threaded hole to prevent epoxy from entering the threads.
