The foam around the flanges was cut down to the canard to allow the foam to clear the flanges when the cover was removed after the next step.
Release tape was placed on the flanges. The foam was covered and filled (holes in foam) with micro.Two BID were layed down over the foam to make the outside skin of the canard cover.
