Brief Description: Installing Hinges on the Longerons
I completed this section so that I could complete section 1 of Ch 8. I floxed the piano hinges onto the right longeron. I kept them straight by using some two sided tape and a board. After the flox had set up, I drilled 3/16" (#12) holes (5 on each hinge)
Later, after deciding to use FHC, these hinges were removed. Thsi is a modification from the regular plans. The FHC by definition will not use the side hinges.
