Brief Description:  Interior Layups

12/20/2007 I cut all of the LWA pieces
12/27/2007 I cleaned up the LWA pieces with a belt sander and beveled the edges according to plan.
12/29/2007 I cleaned up the foam and made the CS4/5 inner bulkheads and the center bulkhead. I layed up 1 ply BID in the inside of the spar. I micro'd in each of the inner bulkheads and layed up 1 BID on each side. I installed the reinforcing UND layups on the inner and outer wing attach points. I floxed in the LWA1 hardpoints and covered them with a layer of BID.
01/01/2008 I went back and checked the measurement of the outboard LWA1 Hard points and realized that I had made a significant measurement error. The plans call for 65.5 BL. I measured 65.5 but I followed the shap of the forward side which is 8.6° off. This put a .25" error into it. I removed the hard points using a little heat after sanding down the BID over it. I started to sand down the rest of the flox but ran out of sandpaper.
01/03/2008 I finished sanding down into the UND reinforcements. I applied 3 more UND to replace the amount that I sanded away. I then refloxed the LWA1 and placed a layer of BID over the top and peel ply'd it.
