The nose bumper was installed slightly different than the plans. A 1/4" aluminum plat was secured to the wood structure under NG0. The plate was drilled and tapped and installed with machine screws installed from the inside. If it is used for an emergency break, then the screws will abrade away from the bottom up. The plate will have a plastic/rubber piece installed on top at a later date.
