Brief Description: Installing the Pitch Trim Belcrank and the Elevato
09/26/2007 I installed the elevator trim horn on the center torque tube. The outer balance weights were installed and layed over with 2 layers of UND. 09/27/2007 I installed the weights on the MKG12A control horns. The elevators balanced on the hinge pin in the nose down position as required. 09/28/2007 I cut open the bottom of the canard sking to contain the outboard ballast. I glassed the inside with 1 layer of BID and trimmed. I weighed the left elevator with MKMNG12A and got 3 lbs 4 oz. The right was 3 lbs 4.5 oz.
