09/03/2006 Started Chapter 9 step 1. Finished the front forward side LG bulkhead layup except that I forgot the 2 layers of BID over the hard point on the right side. Will finish tommorrow. 09/04/2006 I placed the missing 2 layers of BID on the right side forward LG bulhead. 09/04/2006 I sanded out the area between the aft LG bulkhead and the firewall. This took a while since it is a tight area and I was not very neat with the application of flox when I put the NACA scoop in. I glassed the foam with 2 plys of BID @ 45°. 09/09/2006 I glassed the area between the aft LGB and the FW over each of the attach points. I also drilled out the bolt holes on the shoulder support attach points on seat back. 11/02/2006 Partially sanded the inside of the LG bulkheads. More needed 11/03/2006 Finished sanding the inside of the LG bulkheads. I found a delaminations in the layup from the left front LG attachment hardpoint onto the bottom of the fuselage.I sanded it out and relayed up 3 UND in an alternating layers to minimize the impact on the surface. 11/05/2006 Layed up both sides reinforcing BID inside. 3 layers of BID over aft, side and forward bulkheads. And 2 layers of BID. 11/18/2006 Cut out the aileron torque tube holes. Drilled out the attach points. Generally cleaned up the edges of the layups. Repaired the bubbles in the layup between the aft LG Bulkhead and the firewall. Turned Fueselage back upside down and placed the LG strut in the well.
