I have not entered an entry in a while; however, I have been busy each week filling and countouring the bottom of the fuselage and strakes. When I finished the coarse filling , I did the Cory Bird Epoxy wipe overrr the entire bottom. I am currently in the process of sanding the eqoxy wipe wiith 150 grit.
I also installed a fairing around the gear leg. I used the technique suggested by Wayne Hicks on his website.
I painted the landing gear cover with primer as a test piece. I sanded it down with 220 grit. It showed several high spots so I will need to respray this piece again. I am using Delron DPS3055 V-Prime Acrylic Urethane Surfacer as a primer.Thye did not produce the white primer any longer.
