Foam was fashioned to fill in around the internal bellhorn. All of the foam was taped for release when the rudder is cut out. A piece of foam was fashioned to fit on top of the internal bellhorn connection area and it was micro'd in. A single BID was layed up to tie together.
The lower winglet was cut so that it sat at 18.4 WL and lined up with the outside of the winglet. A piece of foam was fashioned to fit in the crevice that is formed from the top of the lower winglet and the slope of the attachment layups for the winglet. This was micro'd in place along with some 5 minute epoxy to hold it while the regular micro cured.
