Brief Description:  Inside Layups

The inner corner for the wing and winglet had 8 plys BID epoxied in to the cutouts in the foam. Flox was spooned into fill the voids and some foam also placed in to minimize the flox. I let this cure for a bout 2 hours. After 1 hour, it was obvious that it was too hot to continue although it was not hot enough to be alarming. The exo therm could be felt through the skin. It was wam to the touch almost to the point that I could not keep my hand on it.

After it had started to cool some, the opposing 8 BID was layed up over the inside layup in the corner between the wing and winglet. The edges that had foam dug out was filled with flox to provide a strong corner joint.

The foam block was fit checked and final adjustments made. It was covered with micro and placed in the corner to fill it completely. This was weighted down and left for curing.
