The hole that was cut to provide access to the rudder conduit was closed up. The piece that was cut out was layed over the hole. A hinge pin was used to raise the side closest to the winglet and the other side was 5 minute epoxied.
A piece of foil was placed over the cable underneath the cutout piece in an attempt to keep any epoxy out of the cable. The micro was sanded off around the hole. Two BID and Two UND layers were layed up over the cutout piece overlapping onto the vertical section of the winglet.
