It took a while to get the right rivets. Once I had them, they went in very easy. Once everything was attached, it was all installed to check the fit. There seems to be a small tendency for the rudder to push out. At this point, I am hoping that the spring will compensate.
The spring tube was also floxed into place A piece of the 1/8" plywood scrap from the firewall was used to hold an eye bolt. The bolt was bent to provide a hold in the flox. One thing that I did not consider. When the tube is being inserted, the flox forms a very good seal and the tube becomes a piston compressing the air behind it. It took some work to get the tube completely inserted.
A washer was used to connect the eyebolt for the rudder side of the spring. This was floxed into the rudder.
