Brief Description:  Glassing the Skins - Right

The foam cores for the right upper winglet and the left lower winglet were set in their respective foam core cutouts for support. The support foam was trimmed to allow proper over hang of all leading edges. The foam was sanded smooth and vacuumed and micro'd. A piece of peel ply was set up on fish tail to allow a smooth pull of the foam. I discovered later that I did one thing incorrectly. I layed down the micro before installing the peel ply. That created a hard shell over the peel ply that made it hard to seperate from the trailing edge. It did come off, but it was not necessary.

The 2 UND layers were layed down according the directions in the plans. A third layer of BID was layed up on the bottom according to the dimensions of the plans. The 2 UND layers for the lower winglet were layed in a similar fashion.
