Due to my work on the project in Louisiana, I slowed down on my work on the cowling. I did complete the cowling today. I have not been logging each day that I have worked so the 60 hours is a guess. Some of the highlights. - Completed all of the flanges and installed CLocs from SkyBolt. - Removed the exit that was intended for the exhaust pipes since my exhaust pipes are in the cowl. The right side has a small hump to provide at least 1 " clearance from the exhaust pipes. - Completed the rear flange and installed the CLocs. - Repaired some of the flanges on the lower firewall. They were not fitting tight on the cowl, so I cut them out and reinstalled new ones. - Installed the Oil door. Used one CLoc fastener to secure the door. - Installed the lower inlet ramp from the NACA duct.
There are still a few CLoc fasteners to install on the lower cowling and some adjustments that need to be made everywhere.
