Brief Description:  Installing Fuel Caps

The fuel cap recepticle was floxed in place using MGS285 resin. Holes were drilled in the flange to allow the flox to "grab" both sides and anchor the recepticle. Before appliying the flox, the foam and exposed skin was thouroughly exposed to straight liquid epoxy. This should seal the foam from any lateral movement of fuel. The flox was troweled onto the foam with plenty of excess. The recepticle was carefully placed and slowly pushed into the flox. Flox flowed up through the flange holes with minimal loss to the inside skin hole. I wiped some excess flox from the inside, but it was not excessive. The top was smoothed out to be as close to even with the surface as possible. The top was peel ply'd and allowed to cure.

The next morning all of the peel ply and tape was removed and cleaned up. I will likely require some feather sanding in the area to finish the surface again, but it worked pretty well overall.
