Step 1: The C-1201 Canopy was removed. Each side of the of the weld joint was measured 2'' at thhe middle of the WD-1219 Canopy frame front bow and a pen mark was made on the line of canopy to front bow contact.
The line of contact of both directions was marked every 2''. Each mark was pre-drilled.

2. The C-1201 canopy back was placed on the WD-1219 canopy frame using strips of duct tape to hel pulling the sides of the canopy down and holding thek in place. The proper position of the canopy frame was verified.

3. Drill with a #30 plexiglass bit was made through the canopy and through the pre-drilled hole in the frame, beggining at one of the holes nearest the center of the front bow.
Using the tape contact line, aid drill was made through the center of the tube; the hole was cloecoed after drilling.
The canopy was drilled and clecoed to the canopy frame rear bow at the hole nearest the top center of the rear bow. Before clecoing each drilled hole any existent shaving under the canopy was cleared. It was made sure that the canopy lays were tightly pressed against the canopy frame rear bow by clecoing.
Front bow and rear bow continued being clecoed and drilled alternating one hole outboard toward the left and right sides each time.

4. The C-1202 canopy skirt was potitioned to the outside surface of the canopy frame sides. Match- drill #30 was made through the canopy skirt and into the canopy frame and cleco. Chips were removed after drilling each hole.
The previous process was repeated on the opposite side of the canopy.
5. The C-1202 canopy skirt was removed and the drilled holes were deburred. The most forward five rivet holes in the canopy skirt were dimpled and the corresponding holes in the frame were machine countersunk.
6, The forward upper corner of the canopy skirt was curled to match the shape of the fuselage.
The aft end of the skirt was trimmed to leave a 1/16'' gap between the aft end ofthe skirt and the fwd edge of the notch in the F-01277-L-1 fwd T
