Today we completed step 10 of the second part of the second training project. The whole process was made by using bucking method, we had to use 3 different bucking bars, including the special dimpling/bucking one A problem that we encountered is that the special bucking bar didn’t fit in the trailing-most part of the ribs when one river is already in place. What we did was use another bucking bar that has a thin tip to begin deforming the rivet and then we finished it with the one that we made. One of the rivers chipped so we were not sure if removing it risking expanding the hole or to leave it like that. We left it like that for now until Franklin tells us how to proceed.
