We started the day by checking what was sent to us from Van’s, if the BSPQ rivets would fit (explanation is shown in one of the photos). Good news, it works. We’ll request more of this type of rivets.
Today we completed steps 9 and 10 of page 17-02. For step 10 (17-02) we broke the edges, covered in section 5 of the manual under “Lap Joints”, this is optional but it helps to set the skin as flushed as possible. Also, be careful to let the stall warning vane go through the skin cut-out before putting clecoing it.
