First thing we did was unpacking our bench vise clamp, but did not install it since we won’t need to use it that often and would only waste space on our working station putting at risk our parts. We needed this vise to complete step 8 (14-02). This part took a lot of time, it came with a lot of burr, the holes were not final drilled so we had to drill (#30 all holes except the countersunk ones, deburr, cleco and check if the assembly had any gaps, we repeated this process four times because it had really persistent burr. Once the assembly set correctly we proceeded to rivet, we noticed that the rivet gun is not big enough to accomplish this so we started riveting on our c-frame. Time ran out so we’ll continue on Saturday.
