Brief Description: steps and baggage floor opening for Whelan's Flash
I installed the steps on both sides of the fuselage and cut an opening in the floor of the baggage compartment for ease of access to the Whelan Flasher. Monday morning I went up to PWC and flew the Cardinal, the air was perfect and it was fun to get up in the plane. Also, cut a piece of aluminum for the inspection plate for the baggage compartment floor. This will make getting at the flasher that much easier. I used plate nuts for the floor, so I can remove the whole floor, however, the left floor under the flap motor is a little harder to get out, consequently, the inspection plate for the flasher.
