Today I did a little more work in the shop by match drilling the forward bracket on the VS, photo one, and marked the location for drilling through the aft bulk head and into the tie down bracket. I already drilled the #40 holes in the four location for the bolts in the tie down bracket, so, if you read this post leave these 4 holes undrilled until you drill through the bulk head. I should be able to get fairly close to the right location because I used a jig for the drilling, however, the jury is still out! Photo two and three show the location for drilling on the lower rudder bracket and the bottom of the spar. If you understand this post you are better than most!
