I have been busy working on little projects on the HS and left and right elevator. You can see by the photo's that the left elevator will be the first one to drill for the pushrod because that is the horn that is further aft. I used a 1/4 inch car brakeline for a guide to drill the horn at the bearing location. This works real good, just go to your local auto parts store and pick up the shortest 1/4 inch line you can get and cut it for the guide. Works great! Still working on fiberglass tips for the elevator and HS, this seem to be more trouble than I actually had first thought, but it is coming together. I think I have taken the elevators off and on about 10 times now but I like the way it fits. Next I will be hooking up the trim tab and drill the lower pushrod hole in the elevator horn.
