Brief Description: reversing arm, control tube, bulkhead 3
Pressed bushing and rivited bearing to elevator reversing arm. Trimmed top of bulkhead #3 per plans. fabricate and assemble aft elevaor pushrod tube.
After assembling the aft elevator pushrod I connected it to the reversing arm and elevator joiners per the plans. I double checked the elevator movement and found the I could not get full up elevator movement because the pushrod was making contact with the top of the tailcone, under the horizontal stabilizer.
The only remedy was to disasemble the aft end of the tube, shorten it 1/2 inch and use a 1/2 inch longer bolt. (4.5 inches instead of 4) After the change I was able to get the full 25 degrees up elevator.
