Brief Description:  Canopy gap seal, cowling louvres, taxi test

Drilled cowling louvres to lower cowl and marked for cutouts in cow. Made cutouts and marked inner face of cowl for routing to allow louvres to seat. Taped area aft of canopy gap so that glass would release. Taxied aircraft to hangar 12 to facilitate fiberglass work and, in the process, tested the brake repair. Taped off the area for the gap seal and scuffed the forward canopy so fiberglass would adhere. Masked rest of canopy and applied glass tape to build up low areas and then applied three tapes along gap seal arranged from back to front so that extreme aft and front of seal will be 1 bid while center will be three bid in a convex contour. Applied peel ply over gap seal layup and left to set. Routed out the inside of the cowling to accept the louvre panels and clecoed them in place.
