Brief Description: Inspect canopy gap seal, fiberglass louvres
Countersunk the rivet locations for the louvres, then used epoxy to glue them in place and pop-riveted before the epoxy set. Finished with expoy mixed with flox to fill the honeycomb and seal it from engine compartment contamination. Removed the peel ply from the canopy gap seal, inspected the fit, and then removed the masking. Carefully broke the seal on the UPS tape and opened the canopy. Removed the rest of the tape and checked that the seal was good. Installed the cowling on the engine, started it up, and taxied the aircraft back to its own hangar.
