Brief Description:  replaced intake, replaced tanks, wired senders, fi

Having received an order from Aircraft Spruce and the replacement bolt from Superior Air Parts, I first reinstalled the intake manifold tube that I had removed to reposition the CHT probe. I was careful not to overtorque the bolt this time and the intake is installed properly now.

Next I turned to the fuel tanks. I replaced the old 8-R8 screws with 8-R10 screws to insure that a few threads were visible past the nut plates, even on the screw with the sender return under it. I also verified that the return was isolated from the rest of the tank using an Ohmmeter.

With the tanks closed, I replaced them on the wings using the attachment screws, torqued all the fluid fittings, routed the sender wires into the fuselage, and tightened and safetied the tank root attach bolt. I then routed the sender wires up through the firewall and to the engine pod and installed them, using yellow and white heat shrink to identify the pairs. While I was at it, I cleaned up the last of the GPS cable routing.
