Brief Description:  Flight 72

0.6 flight time, 5x around pattern. 39.6 total time. OAT 90F at surface. Busy pattern. Many planes in and out. Got in behind a Centurian doing stop & goes (that wasn't so nice with such a busy pattern, and he rolled past me and a Mooney to take the active - what a ****!). Then there were some more joining in the pattern behind me as I did the full stop (foreign students from KRYN, I'm guessing. One sounded Indian, the other Chinese, which makes sense - I know those two nationalities are in the student population over there). Did a 3-point on the full stop - kind of bumpy. 8.5 gallons remaining indicated after the flight. 100 landings on this 2nd half of the tires. Less tread wear than the first half at 100 landings, so taxi distance is a factor. Total miles 2nd half: 100 ldg x ~1/4 mi per + 3 mi taxi per flight x 20 flights = 85 miles. First half I calculate (by same method) ~181.5 miles (less landings per flight). Flipped the tires after the first 107 landings. Not counting taxi trips to the fuel island, but I could figure that in. Should end up with enough info to figure out how many landings are equivalent to how many taxi miles. Projecting last flight of the 40 hours will be full gross 1150 lbs. Need to finish making the final ballast weight required for that.
