0.5 flight time, 3x around pattern. Still with the 60 lb weight. Couldn't hear the AWOS, so figured the radio receiver might be out. Uncontrolled field, so decided to go anyway. I had called it on the phone 10 minutes before, so knew they were closing the taxiways at 0630. I got out to the departure end, did the run up, did once around the pattern. Then on the 2nd time around, see 2 other planes taxiing out. Then I see a plane on base in front of me. I guess he slipped in, because I never saw him on downwind. I called position and reported radio receiver out. The two planes took off after my 2nd T&G, and I saw a truck out there closing the taxiways. The guy in front of me was pretty slow, so I figured enough is enough and landed. There was another plane taxiing out. He stopped kind of in the intersection of the taxiways. I needed to get off the runway there, so I called my intentions, and he held position and waved as I went by, so I think the transmitter is working.
