Brief Description:  Flight 47 - 60 lbs ballast, 1030 lbs gross

0.8 flight time. Before the flight, filled up to 16 gallons on board. Installed one of the 60 pound ballast bags (cement) into the passenger seat. Had to run the seat belt way down to be tight on it (much smaller than for any passenger). My estimate is this flight was at 1030 lbs gross. Acceleration was a bit slower, brakes a bit less responsive, sink rate for a given power level was higher. Needed to hold a little more power in the pattern on descent. Acceleration was slower, climb rate was lower. Did slow flight with and without flaps, 360 turns in both directions, both configurations, and power off stalls with and without flaps. Didn't get quite to the stall break, but to where the airspeed indicator was at the bottom of the arc and the sink rate was 500 fpm or so. Pushed over to 160 mph indicated on descent back to the airport. Nothing strange to report.
