Pulled it out to take to the fuel pump. Checked the radio with the sidetone dialed up. It squeals out in the open, so it wasn't just being in the hangar causing the problem. First time I overfilled at the pump (also did it once when calibrating the sight gauge). Now I know where the fuel goes - down the inside of the firewall, under the spar on the left side, and out the bottom skin at the tail cone joint. Taxied back from the fuel pump, and the fuel residue left a streak about a foot long along the the bottom edge of the tail cone. Cleaned that off with alcohol, pulled the radio and put it away.
