Installed the simplified harness into the radio tray (can do this from the front without pulling the tray, as the connector will slip in from the back). Put the radio in, powered it up - receives great! No other radio there to test transmit, but when I keyed it, there was some feedback. So maybe the mic gain is too high. I turned on the ANR in the headset and the feedback went away, so maybe it will work ok. Put the jacks in the bracket - .125 is too thick for this. Later, made another bracket from .060".
