Previously I found no receive on the radio. Borrowed a hand-held to check. Turns out the radio does receive and transmit, just that the hand-held had to be within 6" of the antenna for it to work. So the radio works fine, the antenna connection is bad. Also found the PTT's in the stick grips are reversed side to side. RH PTT activates LH mic.
