Brief Description: Nutplates for gear leg fairings
Made plates to mount nutplates for the gear leg fairings. Why plates for the nutplates? Because I can't dimple the bottom skin of the fuselage with it installed to allow the use of countersunk-head rivets on the nutplates, and I didn't feel like trying a tiny little machined c-sink for them either. So I made a little extension plate, 1/2" wide by 1 1/4" long from .025 that has dimples for c-sunk head rivets for the nutplates. Then at each end of the 1 1/4" plate, I can install a regular p-head rivet and clear the tab on the gear leg fairings.
