Brief Description:  Rotate the tires

After the meeting, one of the guys helped lift the tail up. I slid the sawhorse into postion under the wing spar box, lowered the tail down, set 6 gallon jugs of water on the tail to hold it. Pulled the wheels off, let the air out, disassembled the rims. Wouldn't have to do this, but the valve stem would end up on the wrong side. So pulled the tires off the rims, flipped the tubes, reassembled the rims. By then, everyone from the meeting was gone. But Steve next door was there. I borrowed some air from his compressor, and then I put the wheels back on. He helped lift the tail while I pulled the sawhorse out. He commented how much harder it was to change a tire on his C-120. It's almost not fair how easy this was. Dirty, but easy. Now I get to see how the second half of the tire treads wear. Oh, if you have a top fuel vent (or even maybe a regular fuel vent), be aware of how much fuel is in it. I had about 6 gallons aboard, and lifting the tail that high, no fuel came out. I didn't think of that until after it was done.
